The Objective is your destination, the Key Results show if you’re heading in the right direction, and the Projects and Tasks are what you’ll do to get your car moving.

1. Set direction with Objectives

An Objective is a description of something that you’d like to achieve in the future. It responds to the question “Where do I want to go?”

Objectives can be long-term, like 1-3 years, to set a direction of the entire organization or career, mid-term, like at the beginning of the following year, or more short-term, like quarters.
